A deep red form of this very popular perennial. The leaves are fleshy and blue-green. It bears clusters of red flowers in summer. A handsome plant for the mixed border. Will often naturalise on old walls. Best in poor soil in a sunny well drained spot. Good on chalk. Height 30-80cm.
