(syn I.c.'Red Baron'). Perennial grass with tightly rolled leaf blades of a vivid ruby-red hue. Long cylindrical spikes of flowers, Aug-Sep. Any garden soil, spreads reasonably, more so in hot weather. Sun or part-shade. Height 50cm
